Privacy & how it works
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Every converter on this site runs in your browser using the Canvas and File APIs. Your files never leave your device, which is also why conversion speed depends on your own hardware rather than on our servers.
Do I need an account?
No. Nothing here requires registration, and we do not charge for any of the tools.
Is there a file size limit?
There is no limit we impose, but very large files are constrained by your device's available memory since everything is processed locally. If a conversion stalls, try fewer files at a time.
Does it work offline?
Once a converter page has loaded, the conversion itself needs no network connection — the work happens on your device.
The calculators
How accurate are the engineering calculators?
The unit conversions use exact SI-defined factors. The tank and plate calculators use standard geometric formulas and are intended for estimating — confirm against your own drawings and the applicable code before ordering material.
Which units are supported?
Force, pressure, torque, power, energy, flow, length, area, volume, mass and temperature, in both metric and imperial, with every unit shown side by side.
